To be sure, Africa is not one country. It is a continent; a collection of over fifty nations with often vastly different histories, with peoples as disparate as those of North America and south east Asia, varying lingua francas, and very divergent cultures and religious beliefs.By Dambisa Moyo

According to Dambisa Moyo’s book Africa needs to be independent and make selection of the kind of Aids which we have been given because since then is not helpfully.

From my opinion what Dambisa says is true because those who provide aid for us I think they have their aim (no body can provide a thing without getting some thing)

Also as an African people we have our own enough resources like minerals etc, so we do not need to keep on bagging.

But on the other hand I think she did not mention the kind of aid because I can most of it is directly to the HIV or MALARIA and few for the development project like  AGRICULTURE and we, we don’t have strategic plan of using it.
